      The School have a set of Pelton's Outline Maps, a large Globe, and other 
        apparatus of the kind; thus furnishing the scholars with an opportunity 
        of obtaining a comprehensive and correct knowledge of Geography. 
        
      GENERAL INTELLIGENCE.  
      This School has been in successful operation for six years, and affords 
        to the student facilities for obtaining a thorough education with the 
        least possible expense. The house is large and commodious, and is beautifully 
        finished and furnished. It is highly important that parents in this immediate 
        vicinity, should understand and appreciate the advantages thus offered 
        of educating their children at home- thus saving a large expenditure of 
        money , and retaining the moral culture of their sons and daughters in 
        their own hands; while those who are obliged to leave their homes in search 
        of knowledge, will here find a thorough course of instruction, pleasant 
        homes in intelligent families , and freedom from the many temptations 
        which so often surround institutions of Learning. ____________

      Tuition For a Term of Eleven Weeks

        Higher English------------------------3.50  
        Languages----------------------------4.00  
        The price of board in private families, is from $1.50 to $2.00 per week. 
         
        Students by boarding them selves in clubs, may considerably reduce their 
        expenses.

      CALLEOPIAN SOCIETY  
      This is a Society formed and conducted by the Students, and holding weekly 
        meetings for debates and other exercises. A Normal Class is formed at 
        the close of each term, to which Lectures will be given by the Principal.
