Beddgelert

January 2005

We stayed overnight in Beddgelert - literally Gelert's Grave. Click here for the legend. The town was scenic and provided nice mountain views.

A custom of the restaurant was to wedge coins into the stone wall. Paper money was hung from the exposed beam ceiling.

Hazel was incredibly patient through the trip, despite long periods of inactivity in the car, and many restaurant meals.

The view from David & Elizabeth's room.

My teeny tiny bathroon.

We ate dinner in this combination antiques shop, pub, restaurant, and bed & breakfast.

After breakfast at our B&B, we walked through the village and out to the marker for Gelert's grave.

Perhaps the most photographed spot in Beddgelert!
