March 30th. Red Maple (Acer rubrum) flowers are open.

March 31st. A pair of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) at Raymond Brook Marsh.

April 1st. Ring-necked Ducks (Aythya collaris) east of Route 207.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The female at the left just was starting to dive.

 

 

 

 

 

 

April 2nd. A male Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis).

 

 

A male American Robin (Turdus migratorius).

 

 

 

April 3rd.

 

 

Spring pastels - mostly Red Maple (Acer rubrum) flowers so far. A frosty 23 degree morning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

An American Beaver (Castor canadensis) at the marsh. Thankfully, trapping season is over!
