December 1st. The outlet stream from the marsh north of Route 207 in Hebron.
December 4th. A distant hawk perched to soak up the morning sun.
Probably the female Northern Harrier (Accipter gentilis) that has been seen at Raymond Brook Marsh recently. However, I'd need to see its white rump in flight to be sure.
December 9th. More Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) passing through than I've seen for awhile.
Woody, the Pound Dog, takes a drink.
Frost on an old railroad tie.
Do you see a shark?
December 12th. Nineteen degrees and thin ice across the marsh.
