Book and Web Site for Usage Centered Design

I have to share a very valuable web site and book advertisement.

Go to: http://www.foruse.com/

Among other things, you'll find out all about Essential Use Cases, an analytical technique for systems design that I think is highly effective. The site is run by Lucy Lockwood and Larry Constantine. I first saw Lucy speak on this topic at PS '98 and it was the hit of the conference for me. I came out buzzing with ideas.

You'll find lots of stuff at the web site including articles to read and an ad for their book: Software for Use: A Practical Guide to the Models and Methods of Usage-Centered Design.

While focused on software design, I think the notion of essential use cases has wider application to process reengineering and such. So... what are you waiting for, check it out!
